Privacy Policy

ChakriRadar (“we”, “us”) helps you find jobs that match your résumé. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. If you have any question, email nur.mohammad@padakhep.org.

1. Information we collect

• Account details. Your email address, and your name if you sign in with Google. If you register with email, we store your email and a securely hashed password.
• Your résumé information. When you upload or paste your résumé, we extract the text and your skills and store them with your account (as a match profile) so we can rank jobs for you. We do not keep the original file you uploaded.
• Your activity. The jobs you shortlist, mark as applied, or ignore, and any notes you add — kept private to your account.
• Basic technical data. Standard server logs (such as request times) needed to run and secure the service.

2. How we use your information

• To match public job listings to your résumé and show you a ranked list.
• To let you save, track, and take notes on jobs.
• To operate, secure, and improve the service.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Where job listings come from

The jobs shown in ChakriRadar are collected from public job sources (for example, public LinkedIn listings, BDJobs, NextJobz, and public government job notices). We do not share your personal data with these sources.

4. How your résumé is matched, and the AI features

Core matching runs on our own server. Your résumé’s skills are compared to jobs using keyword matching and a local “meaning” model that we host ourselves. This does not leave our server.

Optional AI features — the “Deep AI Fit” check, the application-letter and interview help, and our AI re-ranking — use third-party AI providers. For these, we send your skills and a summary of your work experience with direct identifiers removed (we strip your name, phone, email, national ID, address and date of birth before sending), together with the job text, to the providers listed in section 5. We do not send your name or contact details to them, and we never sell your data. If you do not use these AI features, this information is not sent.

5. Sharing with third parties (our processors)

• Google Sign-In. If you choose it, Google shares your name and email with us so you can log in. Your use of Google is also governed by Google’s own privacy policy.
• AI providers — Groq (Groq, Inc.) and Google (Gemini). They process the de-identified résumé summary and job text described in section 4 to produce your fit checks and drafts, under their own API terms. Their servers are outside Bangladesh.
• Hosting & delivery. The app runs on our own server; public access is delivered through Tailscale (a secure tunnel).
• Backups. We keep encrypted backups of our database off-site with Mega for disaster recovery, retained for about 30 days.
• We do not share your data with advertisers. We may disclose information if required by law.

6. Keeping and deleting your data

• We keep your résumé and match profile until you replace or delete them. You can replace or clear your résumé data at any time using “New résumé” in the app.
• You can ask us to delete your account and all associated data by emailing nur.mohammad@padakhep.org. We remove your account data within 30 days; encrypted backup copies then roll off within about 30 more days.

7. Security

We serve the site over encrypted HTTPS, keep each user’s data private to their own account, and restrict administrative access.

8. Children

ChakriRadar is not intended for anyone under 16. Please do not use it if you are under 16.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top always shows the current version.
